Cycology Club is an indoor cycle studio and lifestyle space that will see you leave on a natural high. Riding to the beat of the music in sync with your crew, indoor cycling is reinvented by adding in upper body movement and choreographed weight tracks that strengthen and tone your muscles. Designed more like a nightclub than a gym, our Club is situated in the brand new Short Lane development in Surry Hills. The ‘Club’ itself contains state of the art audio visual technology, 35 Schwinn Carbon Blue bikes and is climate controlled for your enjoyment. Full male and female wet and change facilities are also available. Our Club is a cashless environment.
Originating in New York City in the late 2000’s, Rhythm Riding has quickly grown to be one of the worlds most effective and safe forms of cardiovascular training. Cycology Club is Australia’s first true Rhythm Riding Club and is inspired by the best studios in London, New York, Los Angeles and Hong Kong. Rhythm Riding is our platform to promote overall wellbeing by focusing on the connection between cardiovascular and mental health.
Waiting for class? Check out what we call Mindfuel – it’s our growing bank of content focusing on cardiovascular and mental health publications integrated into the class waiting area. If you see something that resonates, ask your Cycologist or one of our Customer Relations Managers and we would be more than happy to lend them to you.
Pre or post class, our Club also features the ‘M3′ room a distinct area dedicated to mindfulness, mobility and meditation. This is a space for you to chill, focus, ride out that high and centre your day, week or month.
We run small monthly mindfulness workshops in this area – check the schedule for availability.
Take five minutes before class to set the intention for your ride, take five minutes when your finish to set your intention for the day – we don’t mind – this is a space for you to disconnect and self-regulate.
Stretching pre and post class is essential and part of our Club Code. We also practice Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST) from the M3 room. Appointments with our Fascia Stretch Therapist can be made through your account or at Reception in our Surry Hills club.
